Hosted by the Prince Edward Flying Club, Find YOUR Wings Career Fair will introduce young women to careers in the aviation industry and encourage them to explore professions they might have dreamed about but were afraid to try—and to learn about jobs they may not even know exist.

We hope to inspire young women to broaden their horizons, follow their dreams, believe in themselves, and think about the great things they can achieve.

When: Saturday, September 23, 2023 1pm-4pm

RAIN OR SHINE ~ ALL WELCOME ~~ FREE EVENT

Inside our hangars, visitors can talk with pilots and learn about various aviation-related companies and organizations, e.g.,  Air Cadets, RCAF careers, museums, flight schools, universities and colleges, airlines, and female pilot support organizations (99s, Northern Lights Aero Foundation).

Short presentations (30 minutes + Q&A) will occur throughout the afternoon by women and men involved in aviation-related careers.

Visitors can walk the flight line to see static displays of local light aircraft owned by Prince Edward Flying Club members, helicopters, aerobatic aircraft, and RCAF CF-18 cockpit. In addition, female firefighters and OPP officers from PEC will be in attendance with their cruisers and firetrucks.
